Walk With the Doc News

This Saturday I will be helping my daughter get settled into
her new life: graduated, married, new job, new home, etc.  It’s a lot
to handle and as you might expect mom is sensing the need to do
a little mothering.  Of course, the walk isn’t canceled, just the doc.
If you have a need on Saturday, please call as you usually would.
My phone will be at my side and as always your care is of the
greatest importance.  I look forward to our next walk together.

June is Men’s Health Month.  If you missed Father’s day don’t
despair.  The clock never runs out on time to offer a special
thought.  Helping the guy in your life understand the steps need
to improve and maintain his health might be the most valuable gift
he has ever been given.

The purpose of Men’s Health Month is to heighten awareness
of preventable health problems and encourage early detection
and treatment of disease among men.

Take time to thoughtfully review  the
CDC’s Men’s Health
website for tips on how to keep your special guy tuned up to get
the most from life.  Suggest an annual checkup if it’s been more
than a year since their last appointment with me.

Why not invite your guy for a walk?  It’s medicine for the body
and the soul.

                    Need To Get Organized?

Stressed and need help getting organized? Using computers
as an aid in personal organization works well for some.
Unfortunately, most organizer apps force us to work their way,
rather than adapting to suit our needs.  Fortunately, pen and
paper can still be used any way we like.  That’s where the Bullet
Journal system comes in. Created by designer Ryder Carroll, the
system aims to make the humble paper notebook your favorite
productivity app.  Best of all, you get to have it your way.  Feeling
old school tools like pen and paper might work better?
