You are invited to a Saturday “Walk with the Doc” Hope you are finding time for exercise this winter. If walking works for you then join me for a walk this Saturday. My walking program is about you, your health, and the opportunity to improve the health of our community. For most, staying fit over the winter months is a challenge. Perhaps you have an exercise plan that works well. I’d love to share your success story. We need exercise to offset the consequences of sedentary living. Fortunately, almost anything that burns calories and gets us moving helps. Studies show that a brisk walk can help lower your risk of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and the effects of over 100 other health issues. There is a reason why walking is often called the one best thing we can do for our health. Plan to join me in a fun Saturday activity that’s a step toward better health.
